Wilsonville Memorial Park Barn

Collaborating with landscape architects Murase Associates, we rehabilitated the historic 1901 Stein-Boozier Barn for use as a gathering and event space. The challenge was to make the historic barn functional and safe while retaining its agricultural character and preserving its hand-crafted details for visitors to appreciate. A few carefully crafted details and contemporary materials sensitively create a dialogue with the old. As part of the project, Hennebery Eddy nominated and assisted with placing the barn on the City of Wilsonville’s historic register.
