Dawn is a skilled and versatile designer whose work has focused on higher education, community, and historic projects. She was project architect for the historic rehabilitation of both Strand Agricultural Hall and Cordley Hall at Oregon State University, as well as University of Oregon’s Chapman Hall — all of which were recognized with DeMuro Awards for preservation excellence from Restore Oregon. She is currently helping to lead the historic rehabilitation of UO’s Villard Hall as part of the Heritage Project to restore the oldest buildings on campus. Dawn is an accomplished watercolorist; she was recognized with an award from the American Society of Architectural Illustrators for a watercolor rendering of the firm’s design for the Oregon Rail Heritage Foundation’s engine house. Dawn graduated from the Montana State University School of Architecture with a Master of Architecture degree and sits on the MSU School of Architecture Advisory Council.
