This commercial adaptive reuse project transformed an underutilized downtown Portland building into creative mixed-use office and retail space. As part of the renovation of this 70,000-square-foot, three-story building (formerly the Yamhill Marketplace), we replaced the exterior skin and windows, upgraded mechanical and electrical systems, and simplified the layout to increase viable leasable office space. The redesign totally rebranded the property, opening up its dark interior spaces and adding tenant amenities. 2&Taylor received two Green Globes for meeting environmental performance certification standards.
