Hennebery Eddy worked on the Oregon Department of Forestry’s five-, 10-, and 15-year facility space needs for central administration and operations at the headquarters campus comprising nine buildings on two nearly adjacent parcels. We facilitated a robust programming effort involving two weeks of on-campus staff interviews with 23 programs, helping staff to clearly articulate their space and growth needs. That data was used by the steering committee and executive teams to prioritize improvements to the campus in alignment with the Master Plan Charter Purpose Statement. The resulting space plan accommodates modest growth based on user input and changes over the previous 10 years. Hennebery Eddy recommended ODF purchase a 6-8 acre site off campus for emergency services programs, providing more efficiency and safer deployment during fire season. The on-campus headquarters master plan focuses on administrative services; off-site plans include warehousing, distribution, and vehicles.
