South Platte Materials Lab

Hennebery Eddy completely renovated the 25,400-square-foot South Platte Materials Testing and Research Lab building into an athletic footwear material and mechanical testing lab, a 3-D laser sintering lab for rapid product prototyping, athletic training research areas, and associated office space. The client’s primary goal, other than meeting pragmatic research requirements, is to present the image of a “world-class lab,” reflecting the global mission of the company. Tours are given to outside visitors, and the perceived quality of the lab is as important as the quality of the research that occurs. The project is certified LEED Silver for commercial interiors.
